Job description: Co-developing 3D engine for navigation software from scratch, with focus on efficiency (for mobile devices) using OpenGL (ES). Started by parsing world elevation data and implementing terrain loading/managing/rendering. Later worked on parsing world satellite textures and implementing cached texturing of Globe (similar to google earth).
Consulting many various tasks with other programmers. Solving lots of development challenges that came up in areas such as: 3D engine architecture and 3D objects structure, procedural generation and rendering of various types of geographic data, user input and user interface, resource management, input management, debug utilities, etc. Also experienced and enjoyed vast amounts of bughunting, bugfixing, optimizing, improving, polishing, and also learning from the massive solution of well-designed multi-platform source code.
